Ready to Vote? Register by October 14^th – Vote on November 4^th
	In case you’ve missed the news, there’s a major, historical election coming up in a few weeks! You must register by October 14, 2008 to vote in this year’s General Election on November 4, 2008. In case you’ve moved or had another change in status, it’s also a good idea to check to see if your voter registration is current. Sign up for absentee balloting if you will be out of town or unable to get to the polls on Election Day. don’t assume you cannot vote due to language proficiency, criminal history or other issues. Silver Spring Health: Breast Cancer Awareness Month
		October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in the United States. According to the American Cancer Society, it's estimated that About 178,480 women in the United States will be found to have invasive breast cancer in 2007. About 40,460 women will die from the disease this year. Right now there are slightly over 2 million women living in the United States who have been treated for breast cancer.
