Happy Hanukkah! Merry Christmas! Happy Kwanzaa! We’re counting down the last few days of 2011 – 31 to be exact. 2011’s been a great year for Silver Spring – with the long awaited completion of the ICC and The Fillmore. On a smaller scale, we also added a new Ice Skating Rink and Pay by Cell Parking just to name a few. SilverSpringCenter.com started a Twitter account expanded our Facebook page and published our 5^th Silver Spring Visitors’ Guide. Silver Spring Health: No Stomach for Cancer Month
		The right toy can help build imagination and coordination, but the wrong toy can do more harm than good. Prevent Blindness America reports that in 2003, there were more than 10,000 eye injuries to children 14 and younger related to toys and play activities. Further, 90% of these injuries were preventable. While many toy makers follow mandatory and voluntary safety guidelines for their products, some do not.
