Martin Luther King, Jr. OUTDOOR POOL! 1201 Jackson Road Silver Spring 240-777-8066 This facility features a six lane, 50 meter, L-shaped Main Pool, with an eight lane, 25 meter course into the diving area, featuring a half-meter and one-meter board. A separate Leisure Pool consists of a shallow water Lagoon with slides and water play features, surrounded by a circular Lazy River for riding inner tubes with the current. Also provided are: bathhouse with showers; First Aide area; a separate Tot Pool; and lawn areas with shade structures. Diving equipment includes one-and three-meter diving boards and a five-meter platform. A separate Teach Pool for children, the handicapped and seniors is housed in an adjacent wing. Also available are a hydrotherapy pool, weight and exercise room, dressing facilities and an multi-purpose room. This facility is completely handicapped accessible.

Dressing and locker rooms are adjacent to the pool.	Wheaton/Glenmont Pool 12601 Dalewood Drive (off Randolph Road between Connecticut and Georgia Avenues at Wheaton High School) Silver Spring 301-929-5460 Include a six-lane, 50-meter main pool and an eight-lane, 25-meter swim course, with one-meter and half-meter diving boards. A separate shallow-water leisure pool has fountains, sprays, and kiddie slides. An activity pool has two flume slides and crosswalks. A tot pool, snack bar, bath house, and lawn areas are also provided.
